MEL 90 Advancing Excimer Laser Technology

The use of Excimer Lasers for refractive eye surgery began in 1986, and since then, Carl Zeiss has continued to advance and refine this technology. 1. Flexiquence:Allows surgeons to select between 250 Hz and 500 Hz laser frequencies based on the procedure required. The ultra-fast 500 Hz mode significantly shortens treatment time— only 13 seconds for correcting –1.00 diopter of myopia.
2. Triple-A (Advanced Ablation Algorithm): An optimized ablation profile designed to maintain the natural aspheric shape of the cornea. This advanced algorithm helps reduce night glare and visual disturbances often associated with traditional LASIK or PRK procedures.
